Últimamente he notado que estoy completamente obsesionada con las rayas, especialmente si son blancas y negras. Hay algo de ellas que me tienen completamente cautivada. Y es que en esta temporada son las prendas y colores más solicitadas.

De hecho las rayas, de ese mismo  color, están de moda—¡me encanta!

Pórtalas de pies a cabeza, literal. Y aunque se dice que las rayas te hacen ver más grande, no importa tu póntelas, están lindísimas. Obviamente que todo en buen gusto.

Y  si, las blusas Peplum también son de lo mejor. No pensé que las usaría tanto pero ahora me doy cuenta que las amo porque hacen que cualquier outfit se vea más elegante.

El día de hoy describiría mi outfit como Indie-Chic. Si buscas un conjunto simple, cómodo y a la vez chic, diría que este es el adecuado. Ah, y si por una extraña razón tu cabello simplemente no esta cooperando contigo en la mañana, tú no te apures solo usas una linda gorra. Te ahorraras mucho tiempo y te evitaras un gran dolor de cabeza, créeme.

Lately I've noticed that I am completely obsessed with stripes, especially if they’re black and white. There’s something about them that have me completely captivated. And it is because they are the season’s most solicited clothing and colors.

As a matter of fact stripes, in that same color, are in right now—I love them!

Wear them from head to toe, literally. And even if they say that stripes make you look bigger, it doesn't matter, you should still wear them, they’re mega pretty. Obviously all in good taste.

And yes, the Peplum shirts are also the best. I think I was going to used them as much but now I realize that I love them because they make any outfit look more elegant.

Today I would describe my outfit as Indie-Chic. If you’re looking for a simple, comfy and at the same time chic outfit, I would say this would be the ideal one. Oh, and if for a strange reason you hair wasn't cooperating with you in the morning, don’t worry just wear a lovely hat. It will save you time and will prevent a huge headache, trust me.

Me vas a tener que disculpar, pero esta vez no tendré fotitos de mí. Ambos de mis fotógrafos están fuera de la ciudad, así que mis outfits para este blog los dejare para la otra.

Estoy un poco triste porque no estaré aquí para los tres días de shopping sin parar, osea “Tax Free Weekend”. El miércoles viajo a la Ciudad de México, mejor conocido como el “D.F.” y pues no podre asistir. Pero no te apures, te prepare un blogcillo de mi vije al D.F.

Ni modo, pero si tú si vas a estar aquí pues te dejo con esta recomendación: Comprar mezclilla ¡YA!
Entre más mezclilla mejor. Ya sean blusas o vestidos, o bolsas o chalecos, o lo que sea, este regreso a clases llena tú guarda ropa con esta tela y lucirás genial.

Recuerda empezando desde el viernes, 17 de agosto, hasta el domingo, 19, podaras comprar sin impuesto alguno. Aprovéchalo y recuerda mezclilla, mezclilla, MEZCLILLA.

You will have to excuse me, but this time I will not have pictures of me. Both of my photographers are out of town, so my outfits for this blogs will be for next time.

I am a bit sad because I will not be here for the three day shopping spree, better known as “Tax Free Weekend.” On Wednesday I leave to Mexico City, better known as “D.F.” and well I will not be able to assist. But don’t worry I will prepare a blog on my trip to D.F.

So, if you will be here I will leave with these recommendations: Buy denim NOW!

The more denim, the better. Whether it be blouses o dresses, or purses or vests, or whatever, this back to school season fill your closet with denim and you will look great.

Remember, staring on Friday, August 17, to Sunday, 19, you could buy without taxes. Take advantage of it and remember denim, denim, DENIM!

Este fin de semana estuvo de locos. Hace unos meses atrás planeé una fiesta sorpresa para mi mamá y ahora me toco organiza otra pero para mí otra mami, mi hermosa abue. Dios nos permitió tener a mi abuelita un año más con nosotros y solo puedo decir que la amo y le doy tantas gracias a Dios por su vida, ha sido de tanta bendición.

Lo dije antes y lo vuelo a decir, creo que eh encontrado mi profesión— ¡amo organizar fiestas! Te dejo con unas fotitos.

This weekend was crazy. A few months back I planned a surprise party for my mom and now I once again planned another one but for my other mom, my beautiful grandma. The Lord allowed us to have my granny more one year and I can only say that I love her and that I am so, so thankful for her life, she has been of great blessing.

I’ve said it before and I say it again, I think I have found my new profession—I love organizing parties! I leave you with a few pics.

Dual

Son momentos como estos, en los cuales me siento y lo único que hago es pensar. Y luego recuerdo los lindos momentos que han pasado y me alegra saber que existen las cámaras para poder recordarlos vívidamente, tal como sucedieron.

La mayor parte de mis estudios fueron parte de un programa llamado, “El Programa Dual”. El cual enseña a sus integrantes todo en ambos idiomas, el Ingles y el Español.

Yo me gradué como presidenta del programa, obviamente que de mi escuela y mi generación. Ahora, le toco a mi hermano el suyo.

Moments like these, I just sit and all I do is think. And then I remember all the lovely moments that have passed by and it makes me happy to know that cameras exist so we could remember them vividly, just like the occurred.

For a great portion of my education I was part of a program called, “The Dual Program.” This program thought its members everything in both languages, in English and Spanish.

I graduated as president of the program, obviously for my school and my generation. Now, it was my brother’s turn.

Fashion Consultant

Aun que fue unos días atrás, estoy súper emocionada porque después de mucho orar y llenar como cinco o seis solicitudes de trabajo logre por fin obtener uno. Fue mi primer día de trabajo y mi título allí es consultora de moda, ¡ayy apoco no suena genial!

No diré donde es donde trabajo solo para mantener el suspenso. Lo único que si diré es que fue muy, muy mala idea el haber usado zapatos de tacón el primer día, mis pobres piecitos ya no aguantaban.

Although it was a few days back, I am very excited because after tons of prayers and many job applications filled I was able to finally find one. It was my first day there and my title is "fashion consultant," oh doesn’t it just sound wonderful!

I won’t say where I’m working at only to keep suspense. They only thing I will say is that it was a very, very idea to have worn high-heel shoes on the first day, my poor feet couldn’t take it anymore.
